OulikeGoedjies


1. Overview

OulikeGoedjies offers handmade crochet items and curated products. Due to the handmade nature of many items, slight variations may occur and form part of the product’s uniqueness.

This policy complies with South African consumer protection laws.


2. Cooling-Off Period (Online Purchases)

In terms of ECTA, customers may cancel an online order within 7 days of receiving the item, without giving a reason.

Conditions:

  • Cancellation must be submitted in writing within 7 days
  • Items must be returned in original, unused condition
  • Return shipping costs are for the customer
  • A full refund will be issued (excluding return shipping)

Refunds are processed within 30 days of cancellation.


3. Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

Under the CPA, customers are entitled to a remedy if goods:

  • Are defective or damaged
  • Do not match the description
  • Are not suitable for their intended purpose

This applies within 6 months of delivery.

Customers may choose:

  • Repair
  • Replacement
  • Refund

Important (Handmade Items):
Where a replacement is not reasonably possible due to the handmade or one-of-a-kind nature of the item, OulikeGoedjies reserves the right to offer a repair or full refund instead.

We will cover return shipping costs for valid defective claims.


4. Non-Returnable Items

The following are not eligible for return unless defective:

  • Custom or personalised items
  • Made-to-order items
  • Items requested in specific colours or sizes
  • Items that have been used, worn, or damaged after delivery

5. Condition of Returns

To qualify for a return:

  • Items must be unused and in original condition
  • Original packaging should be included where possible
  • Proof of purchase is required

Returns that do not meet these conditions may be refused.


6. Refunds

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error
  • Processing times depend on your payment provider

7. Exchanges

Exchanges are only offered for defective or damaged items and are subject to availability.


8. Return Process

To initiate a return:

  2. Include order number and reason
  3. Await approval and instructions

Unauthorised returns may not be accepted.


9. Product Disclaimer

  • Handmade items may have slight variations in size, texture, or colour
  • Colour may vary slightly due to lighting or screens
  • These are not considered defects
